RTOS/TMS570LS0232: TMS570 Help! Can't receive or send Remote Frames with CAN !

Hello,

i'm clueless, i can't send remote frames with canSendRemoteFrame(canREG2,16);

The TMS570 does not send a remote but a data frame:

I don't get any interrupts from remote frames.

Data frames all work fine.

What did i do wrong ? I tried with Activated "Enable RTR" and "Set EOB", doesn't work either.

Can't receive Remote Frame with that message box.

Hello Drave,

1. Does your receive object have the same ID? If the ID is different and the UMASK=1, the coming message will be filtered out.
2. The remote frame doesn't data, how do you know if it is received or not?
3. The receive object which want to receive the remote frame and transmit the data frame should be: Dir = 1 (direction = transmit), RmtEn = 1, UMask = 1 or 0.

I can send remote frames now, i changed from receive to transmit, it works.

I also can transmit data frame if i get a remote frame automatically, but i don't want that, i only want an interrupt if i

receive a remote frame. Is that possible ?

No, there is no interrupt for the remote frame.
