When I am connecting the potentiometer to the MCU board, I observe that the small green light in the debug section of the board flickers and even goes off at times.
I am not able to understand why that is happening.
I connect on end of pot to 3.3V supply (taken from the board itself)
I connect the other far end to the ground
I connect the slider pin to the analog input for ADC sampling.
Something more peculiar is happening, when my slider is at one of the extremes my mcu gets disconnected from the PC I have plugged it in, when I slightly move the slider, it gets detected again.
