hi sir,

we are doing active cell balancing, we have to set communication between EM1402EVM and TMS570LS3137 MCU. for SPI communication, we got to know that thje pl455 chip on the EVM board should wakeup, but it is not waking up. the wakeup is connected to the GIOA4 pin on TMS570, we are trying to enable this port by making it high or low.

please provide all the settings of halcogen and detail setting in gio.c to enable this port.

Hello,

1. Configure GIOA4 as output:
gioPORTA->DIR = 0x00000010; //bit 4
2. SET this pin to HIGH
gioPORTA->DSET = 0x00000010; //bit 4
3. RESET this pin to LOW
gioPORTA->DCLR = 0x00000010; //bit 4

i want to ask, how and where to check its output after debugging the code?

Hello,

Do you mean where to check the value of GIOA.4?

You need to probe the GIOA4 pin on PCB board.

thanks alot sir, this resolves my problem and now i am able to see 3.3 volts on oscilloscope, while making GIOA pin high.
