TM4C123GH6PM: Custom Board TM4C123 UART0 without ICDI

Hello All,

I have a Custom TM4C123 Board and I want to know if I can Use UART0 with FTDI module to communicate with PC? Because Custom Boards do not have ICDI interface with PC.

Actually I, want to give provision of UART0 in my Custom Board PCB design if it is possible to use it with FTDI.

Yes, you can do it. I don't see a problem with it. Just curious what your debug probe will be?

Hello Charles,

Thank you for confirming it. My Debug probe is JTAG. Actually I'am already loading codes on my custom board using JTAG . Just that UART0 has function of printf is the only reason I want to use it. Otherwise With other UART'S I have to break the ADC data into separate Bytes and then again at receving end join them.
