When I am debugging the project named "spi_slave" using TM4C1294 XL it is showing the following error.

Did the project compile properly?

You may have different TivaWare installation from me. You need to go to the Include options and check if you have the right path to the include folders. If not, you need to configure for the correct include paths.

If you already a TivaWare example (i.e. blinky or others) you can make a copy a that project and then copy the spi_slave.c file over and rebuild it.

We are able to build and debug the code successfully. But the DataRxBuffer is showing random value and DataTx is showing the correct value.

I am including the screenshot of output.

Please help me in resolving the issue.

Do you have the same baud rate, SPI clock phase and polarity configured for both the master and slave?

We are using the same board for transmitting and receiving the data.

Same board doesn't mean the master and slave are configured for the same format. Which UART instance do you use for master and which other do you use for the slave. The baud rate, clock polarity and phase must match. Please use the scope to capture the SOMI and SIMO pins.

Have you tried the example <TivaWare_Installation>/examples/peripherals/ssi/spi_master.c? This is a loopback example. You can disable the loopback and connect the TX and RX pin externally to see how the master and slave are setup to transmit and receive data.
