TMS570LS0714: MCAL CAN module question.

Hi Champ,

When i configuration the MCAL CAN moudle , i found if the CanRxProcessing select INTERRUPT and CanTxProcessing select POLLING , there will has two error ,the error info as below,may i know this is MCAL Bug or not?

Invalid value for node "/AUTOSAR/TOP-LEVEL-PACKAGES/Can/ELEMENTS/Can/CanConfigSet/CanConfigSet_0/CanController/CanController_0/CanRxProcessing": CanRxProcessing and CanTxProcessing aren't equal

Hi Huihuang,

I got the same error message if I use different modes for TX and RX MSG. I am not sure if it is a bug or not. It may be a feature or limitation. But this will not impact the usage. Even though both TX and RX interrupts are enabled, you can use polling mode for RX by reading the flag.

Hi QJ,

Could you check with the MCAL expert whether it is the Bug or limitation,

As in real using case , customer will just use CAN RX interrupt and The TX will use polling.

This is also my my customer question .

Hi Huihuang,

It is a feature. CAN Interrupt is enabled only if either RX or TX is in Interrupt mode.
