Our customer sent us a question about below vulnerability for TMS570LC4357.

https://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/180049 (It seems to be described about Variant 3a and Variant 4.)

Question:

Is TMS570LC4357 not affected by those vulnerability ?

We found related E2E thread as below;

The above E2E thread said, "TI DSPs and MCUs are not affected by either vulnerability (Spectre or Meltdown). "

We expect "TMS570LC4357 is not affected by those vulnerability".

According to this publication by ARM, developer.arm.com/.../speculative-processor-vulnerability, the Cortex-R5 processors are not affected. So TMS570LC4357 microcontrollers are not affected by this vulnerability.
