Hello Champ,

Customer met a issue that when access to ePWM register in ePWM initial function ,like below instruction, The CPU will jump to dabort?

etpwmREG1->TBCTL = (uint16)0U << 7U;

Could you advise the reason ? and how to settle this issue?

Hello,
Is the clock to the ePWM1 module enabled? It is enabled by default, so check if the initialization code is disabling it.

Huihuang,

Is the initialization code generated by HALCoGen or has it been modified significantly? Follow these steps for debugging this issue:

- Check the status of the PINMMR37 register bit 8. It needs to be set (default) for the clock to be ON to the ePWM1 module.
- Next, check if the VCLK4 domain itself is disabled in the CDDIS register (Clock Domain Disable). This would be bit 9, it must be 0.
- Also check the MPU to make sure that the ePWMx register space is not configured to be non-writable memory space.
