CCS/TMS570LS3137: unable to halt device

Recently, when I debug the TMS570 by CCS6.2, sometimes it doesn't work, and show the error as "Error -2062 unable to halt device".

I think It looks like the code programmed is making the part enter an exception state repeatedly. and it prevents the CPU from entering a debug state.

But how to erase the flash in TMS570?

Is nowFlash supported with TMS570LS3137?

When I use uniFlash to erase Flash, it same as CCS6.2.

Hello,

Are you able to connect the JTAG to the device? IF not, please try this way first:

1. Open the target configuration window, and launch the selected the configuration
2. Switch to debug window
3. Press the reset (nRST) button and hold it
4. Click “Connect Target” immediately after you release the nRST button
5. The board should be connected after couple tries

Thank you for your support. I have solved this problem.
When launch the debug window. set nRST to GND, and relase it quickly. device connected after some tries.
