I am trying to convert the adc values read by TMS57004 launch pad which acts as the master for bq76PL455EVM.I am using bq76PL455EVM example code provided by Ti.I want to use the ADC0 pin to read some value .while debugging the code gets stuck in the adcIsConversionComplete loop.

could you provide the guidelines to incorporate adc in bq76PL455EVM example code ? or provide me the halcogen file with which bq76PL455EVM example code was generated.

Hello Silpa,

In BMS TI design, the PL455 samples all batery cells, aux channels, and temperature sensors. TMS57004 MCU reads those value from PL455 internal RAM using SCI. TMS57004 doesn't use ADC to sample any signal.

I would like to know whether we can read data from the adc pins of TMS57004 and use it in the same bq76PL455EVM example code?

Hi SIlpa,

If you have ADC analog signal input to ADC pins, and the ADC module is configured properly, you can read the sampled data without any issue.
