Compiler/TM4C123GH6PM: Using UART3 at TM4C123 kite

Hello :)

I am using tm4c123 and I want to init UART3 but I don't know the value to put in : RunModeClockGatingControlRegister1(RCGC1) because I didn't find uart3 at the data sheet.

You are attempting to use a, 'Legacy Register' - which has been replaced!

Your use of , 'RCGCUART' instead - includes ALL EIGHT UARTs!

Do insure that you've upgraded to the newest version of vendor's µWare.

Hello Moaz,

In addition to cb1's accurate statement, also please ensure you are using TivaWare API's for your UART3 configuration. If you use TivaWare API's, the configuration should be very straightforward.

You Sir - are most welcome. Do upgrade to 'latest/greatest' µWare & do consider use of the API. (rather than the unnecessarily delaying - and overly complex DRM.) Farewell...
