Flash API TMS470

Hi-

I'm tyring to find an up to date flash api that will work with a TMS470R1B1M (or TMS470R1A256) and IAR embedded workbench v5.5. It doesn't seem that the "TMS470/570 Platform F035 Flash API" is backwards compatible with F05 flash devices-- is there another build available? This F035 library (EABI) does link with IAR v5.5 just fine-- but most of the functions I want are deprecated.

***In case you're wondering why I'm using an NRND part, I actually intend to ultimatly use the ~200 deg C high temp version of this part family (SM470R1B1M-HT) which is active.

Any example code or help would also be appreciated!

We are undergoing an effort now to provide an updated F05 API. The F035 API is not applicable to this device.

For development work, the existing API compiled for IAR can be used. It is located at http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/sprc236.html

I expect the updated API will be available in several weeks and will be linked to this posting when complete.

The SM470R1B1M-HT is released by the HiRel team. We have an external e2e forum located at http://e2e.ti.com/support/applications/high_reliability/default.aspx

Would you be able to compile the TMS470 F05 flash library as an EABI lib file?

Andrew, I have communicated with the team that can get this compiled.

They have indicated that it can be completed approximately mid February. Hopefully this will work for you.
