TM4C129ENCPDT: usb_bulk_example with an alternate IDE

I have been trying to make a functional project using Code Blocks in order to comunicate mi PC with a TM4C129 uC: It is not a problem to make it work using visual studio since the example was developed using this IDE, .my question, is it possible to make it work using Code Blocks or any alternate IDE?,I tried and got a problem related to the lmusd dll.lib, for some reason Code Blocks cannot add the symbols because FIle format is not recognized..., does someone knows the meaning of this?

Hi,

I doubt the code blocks has extensions to support TM4C. TM4C is supported by Keil, IAR, GCC and CCS. Is there any reason why you cannot use CCS which is free IDE?

Hi Charles, maybe i was not very clear, what I was trying to implement on Code Blocks was the host side aplication wich links the PC to the uC, the uC is already working as a usb device with no problem, I also used ccs to make it a usb bulk device (using the usb bulk example from tiva ware) .

Hi Josue,
Good that you have tried out the CCS USB bulk example on the Tiva MCU side. I think for host side application on the PC, you will need to consult Code Blocks. We don't have any experience with it. Sorry about that.

Hi,
We don't have any support for Code Blocks. This is not a TI tool. We can't support Code Blocks in this forum.

Hi Josue,

The bulk device client for windows is included as an echo console when -e is added to the *.exe client. The bulk device project file was developed in VS2k perhaps you would need a cross compiler for the assembler code. More difficult in the end perhaps than simply testing the echo client with the -e option switch.
