When the highlighted line of code in the Word document (last image) is executed control is passed to dabort exception.

Hi Gilbert,

Thanks. From your word doc, you only have 1 block of data to write to and read from the FEE. In your code, you try to write and read the 7th block to and from the FEE. This block doesn't exist in the flash. Can you try it again using the blocknumber=1?

But I do not get to the code responsible for reading/writing. The problem occurs in the TI_Fee_Init routine. The line at which the exception occurs is highlighted in the final image in the attached Word document.

Hi Gil,

The data fault status is 0x80D. It means your code doesn't have permission to access the memory.
The M bits in CPSR is b10000 which is in USER MODE. Privilege mode is required to write value to EE_CTRL1 register.

Please switch to system mode or supervisor mode
