EK-TM4C1294XL: EMC

Part Number: EK-TM4C1294XL

Hi to you all,

Does the development board EK-TM4C1294XL as it is satisfy EU EMC requirement  i.e  Conducted/Radiated Emission and Conducted/radiated immunity ( this is the most important)?

There is a document on the board's webpage  ( http://www.ti.com/lit/ml/sszq113/sszq113.pdf   which mentioned about EMC but I couldn't figure out is that an answer  to my question or no.

Thank you for your help in advance.

  • Bravo Sir - so good to see a (properly defining) SUBJECT LINE - 'grace' your (newest) posting.      Surely such has 'far greater odds' - of 'attracting' those most skilled - and/or aware/interested - in your 'EU-EMC' compliance quest.

May I note that (yet another) concern - may challenge?      Vendor does not recommend (perhaps does not sanction) use of their Development Boards - w/in a commercial application.     (do request formal vendor response - to this specific)     Should such 'vendor objection' exist - your quest for such 'EU-EMC' detail - may suffer reduced (perhaps even) LITTLE VALUE.    (unless you attempt a (near) copy - of vendor's pcb - and employ identical components...)

While it is 'hoped' that this proves 'Not the case' - I've 'flagged the possibility' - better preparing/alerting you for (potentially) future considerations...   Bon chance - mon ami.

  • Hi Rab,

Your reference to the document is correct that the LaunchPad board has been tested for EMC for EU requirement.  Please also read the standard terms in the LaunchPad user's guide.

  • Does not one here - prove a 'reasonable' Tech prognosticator?

I exit quickly - so as not to suffer - being: 'Sold, sublicensed, leased, rented, loaned, assigned - or otherwise distributed.'
