TMS570LS1115: Using Flexray designated pins for general purpose input output (GPIO)

Hello,

I would like to know whether I can use Flexray pins of TMS570LS1115 as GPIO, provided that I will not be using the Flexray peripheral.

Following are the specific pins, (ZWT package)

FRAYRX1 - A15
FRAYTX1 - B15
FRAYTXEN1 - B16
FRAYRX2 - A8
FRAYTX2 - B8
FRAYTXEN2 - B9

You can't use those pins as GPIO.

Hello Predeepa,

You can use the following pins as GPIO.

FRAYTX1 - B15 --- muxed with GIOA2
FRAYTXEN1 - B16 --- muxed with GIOB1
FRAYTX2 - B8 --- muxed with GIOB0
FRAYTXEN2 - B9 --- muxed with GIOB2

This multiplexing is only application to the TMS570LC devices. The TMS570LS11x devices do not have the ability to use the FRAY terminals as GPIOs.

Miro and Sunil are correct. The LS11x devices do not have the ability to use the FRAY terminals as GPIOs. Sorry for the confused the message.
