Dear All,

I want to generate a PWM signal of 50 Khz using TMS 57004.

I have enable HET driver in halcogen then in HET PWM 0 I am not able to set period less than 3.2 us.

So does it means we cant generate a PWM signal of 50 KHZ from TMS57004?

I have also tried changing in TMS 57012 and tms570C43. But still I am unable to generate a PWM of 50 Khz.

What frequency are you trying to generate? 3.2us corresponds to 312.5KHz. What happens when you use a period value of 20 us in HALCoGen configuration? Is there any output? What frequency is being generated?

You were correct max. frequency of PWM is 312.5 Khz.

You need to configure as "output" the HET pins you want to use to output PWMs by setting the 'DIR" bits for those HET channels.
