RM57L843: Pull State

I am working on RM57L843. Some of it pins has a internally fixed pull down as in datasheet i.e. EMIF data lines. What will happens if I externally pull high this pin with a resistor?

In General: You should take care on maximum sink current of exact pin when connecting external pull-up. If maximum sink current is exceeded then the device could be damaged. When EMIF is enabled you can't use those pins as GIO. You should disable EMIF and enable RTP to use those pins as GIO. Then use can program pull type.

Hi Miro
In my understanding, we should take care of max sink current while pin is internally pull down and we apply an external pull up.
But I my case my question is, Pin is internally pull down and I my going to pull up external. I think this could make a potential divider at pin.
