TMS570LS3137: How to get 32 bit polynomial CRC

Hi Team,

As per manual, could see that HWCRC module uses 64 bit polynomial for calculating CRC.
If we want to get 32 bit CRC value, is there a way to do it using?

Sorry for the late response. It is not possible to change the polynomial used by the CRC module.

Sure Sunil, in that case, we will always get 64 bit CRC value and we cannot get 32 bit CRC value. Please confirm.

Can we get sample data and its 64 bit CRC value to validate, or please share on how to validate CRC HW module?

Please refer to this post: e2e.ti.com/.../672434

The pycrc output is expected to match the CRC module output, so you can use this to make sure that the CRC module is operating correctly.
