sir/mam,

i need precise 921600 kbps baudrate. how to configure UART. By configuration in HALCOGEN i am getting 937500 kbps baudrate. Kindly help

Hello,

You can use the formula on page 1629 of the TRM to get the accurate baudrate:

SCICLK Frequency = VCLK Frequency / (P+1+M/16)
Asynchronous baud value = SCICLK Frequency / 16

Where the P and M are congured in BRS register.

The ranges for the prescaler values in the BRS register are:
P = 0, 1, 2, 3, . . . , 224 - 1
M = 0, 1, 2, . . . , 15

THANKS.Above formula works fine with SCI1 & SCI2...but not with SCI3 & SCI4.
