TCRAM wrapper registers access

Hi,

I am using TMS570LS20216 and Halcogen tool to generate headers. system.h file generated by halcogen does nto contain declaration for TCRM wrapper registers such as RAMCTRL, RAMERRSTATUS etc.

How can I access those registers? can you provide me declaration file for the same?

I tried enabling ECC but it throws error even adding declaration with required offset doesn't help.

Please provide the clarificaiton

Please check the "reg_tcram.h" file under the "include" folder. This file decare the RAM CTRL registers.

Please check the "sys_startup.c" file under the "source" folder. Search for checkB0RAMECC(). This function shows the usage of enable ECC/disable ECC/inject ECC error......

Thank you for your quick reply. Halcogen does not generate reg_tcram.h file and sys_startup.c does not have ECC functions. Can you share these files with the reply?

I am unable to conclude why Halcogen is not genrating these files.

Please share the files if possible.

In case I need to do some specific settings in Halcogen then let me know those changes.

Sounds like you use a older version of HalCoGen. My version is 3.05.02, it generates those files and functions.

Go to HalCoGen->Help->Check for updates to update your version.

Sorry, I did not notice that you use TMS570LS20xxx, This has not been updated since a long time and does not generate the start-up sequence required for safety applications. Also, no TCRAM header file is generated.

So, what you can do is to generate a project using tms570ls31xxx and copy those files you want to your project folder.

For the "reg_tcram.h" file and checkB0RAMECC() function, you can directly copy it. They use the same module.

The others, e.g the PBIST, memory initiation, are slightly different.

I am using 20216. I am writing a RAM test functionality in which i want to write specific pattern to RAM and read it back. I am unable to compile assembly code for the same. Can you please help me in translatting attached C code to assembly.

c code file is attached. i am trying to convert same code into assembly.

Also need definition file for function "uint32 gioGetPort(gioPORT_t *port)"
