I'm using the TM4C129 ..I took a look at the ADC input circuit as it taken from the Data sheet.
We deal a lot with surge and I like to know what is the maximum current that is allowed to insert into the protection diode that is connected to the VDD?
What is the duration of that current?

To maintain proper operation the injection currents must be limited to the values in table 30-37, 2mA in, or 0.5mA out.
To avoid permanent damage to the part, the voltage must be below 4V and the injection current must be less than 64mA. There are additional restrictions on the total injection current on each side and that the power dissipated not cause the junction temperature to exceed 125C.
