Dear All,

purchased RM57l launchpad and install CCS6.2.0 version also which is ti given link for download.

am not able to get any example programs, where i will get sample programs of with and with out RTOS programs.

  • The example programs are available from HALCoGen Help. CCS is at version 8 now, so it may be good to start with the latest.

    There are examples with and without RTOS.

    thanks for giving replay, made example program using HALCogen, every thing is fine but program is not flashing, test connection also showing success and driver also initialized properly, but during of flashing it showing

     Error initializing emulator: (Error -2083 @ 0x0) Unable to communicate with the debug probe. Confirm debug probe configuration and connections, reset the debug probe, and retry the operation. (Emulation package 8.0.803.0) 

    using CCS Version 8 and emulation package is 8.0.803.0,attaching print screens for reference.

    searched related issues and i follow the same but not flashing program. kindly help me to solve issue. 

  • In your project properties, check that you have set the right connection.

    Right click on your project and select the properties menu.

    Your debugger is an XDS110 but you selected an XDS560

    thanks for quick response,

    changed connection in properties, after changing it started flashing in middle it showing another error.

    Does not match the target endianness, not loaded. Check project build options and target configuration file (ccxml).

    one more thing during of program flashing error LED is turned ON , in Launchpad

    problem is solved, after changed endiannes to little endian, in properties -> general->device endiannes.

  • Are you sure that you selected the right microcontroller in the Project Properties?

    The RM57 is little endian. When you select the correct microcontroller, CCS normally sets all of these parameters correct automatically.

    Also read and follow these instructions to correct the linker file generated by HALCoGen and set the right debug settings for this safety controller:

    That will solve the red led issue. You have to reset your device first to clear the error. Either unpluq it or press the porrst button.The normal reset button is not good enough to clear a ESR error (hence the red light)
