Please help recommand a LED driver IC to replace PT4119.

Hi, 

We want a LED driver IC to replace PT4119 that made in China.

1. The output must be a constant current source;
2. Switching circuit, not linear, low efficiency, and very hot;
3. Input power supply voltage: 12V or 24V;
4. The power should be almost 24W, specifically tested, first select 24W.
5. The efficiency is over 90%.

    Hello Elsa,

    I did not find a lot of information on the PT4119. If you are looking to create a buck converter around 800 mA (this is what I found related to the PT4119) I would look at the TPS92515. If you have other information such as LED string voltage, LED current or topology you are interested in I can further assist.

    Is the input DC or AC? I noticed a lot of the references to the PT4119 are AC input. Is 12V and 24V the entire range you are interested in? If the LED stack voltage can be higher than the LED stack I would look at the TPS92691 or TPS92692 in buck-boost or boost to battery mode. If the LED stack is always higher than the input voltage I would look at the TPS92691 or TPS92692 in boost mode.
