the hercules RM48 is SIL 3 and as i understands it, this can only be achieved with dual channel logic. where can i find info on this matter?

    Hercules RM48 MCUs are capable of use in a safety application requiring to meet integrity level up to SIL3. The safety analysis for RM48 MCUs is done as a "Safety Element out of Context (SEooC)". The system integrator is required to do the analysis of the complete system along with the information provided in the safety manual for each component in the system.
