TMS570LS3137: CSP Adding Testcases

I am using Halcogen TAU 00.01.02 and Halcogen 04.07.00 and CCS 8.1.0. I am trying to evaluate the demo version of the CSP to make sure that it meets our needs. I am trying to pull up the sample project for the TMS5703137 found here: SafeTI-HALCoGen-CSP\v00.01.02\TMS570LS31x\Sample_Project\CSP_TMS570LS3137ZWT. When I 'Add Testcases' in TAU, I only get testcases for ESM and RTI. I have seen demos done in training slides that have many more testcases available. I am getting the same problem when trying to add testcases for my own projects with many more drivers enables than just the ESM and RTI. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Justin,

    Please use HALCoGen to create new test case, and use HALCoGen TAU to add the test case.

    Please refer to the user guide to generate and add new test case:

    Just so that I am clear. The CSP is just a framework that is used with Halcogen. Each dynamic test case will need to be written by the developer. Static testing is done automatically. MC/DC coverage is done by the developer. Are all of these correct? I am still trying to understand the tool to see if it will be worth it for us to buy.

    Also, how is the F021 Flash API verified? Can the CSP be used?

    For demo version, it only provides test cases for ESM and RTI. For the formal version, it has more test cases. Please refer to the user guide:

    "HALCoGen TAU comes with the unit test cases and functional test case for all of the modules supported
    by HALCoGen for the Hercules™ family of devices and the necessary test infrastructure to run these test
    cases. HALCoGen TAU also provides infrastructure for Hercules customers to add their own test cases for
    specific used cases."

    Flash API doesn't have CSP.
