CCS/CC430F6137: how to transmit string through uart communication

Dear Sir, I am using cc430f6137 ic for my application. the uart code is download from ti resource explorer. I am using external xtall osc - 26MHz and baudrate - 9600. but my code is not working. how to transmit string through uart communication. Please solve my problem.

Hello,
please use cc430x613x_uscia0_uart_01.c or three other examples dedicated to UART on your MCU.
Please, explain me, how anyone can help you if you do not show your code?

Please see the following application note for UART issues. http://www.ti.com/lit/slaa734

In general, the USCI in UART mode transmits a numeric value. To transmit a string, you would need to convert said string to its ASCII equivalent to send over the CC430 UART.
