TM4C1294NCPDT: Motor Driver Libraries for Tiva series micro controllers ??

Respected sir,

               I want to transfer my motor driver firmware on Tiva series controllers. So are there any motor driver libraries available for for Tiva??

    There is no motor driver library for Tiva. However, here is one Stepper motor TI design with Tiva that you can take a look.

    Might that be a little misleading being there are several PWM configuration functions inside Tivaware library? That fact would make migration from any vendors MPU over to TI much easier!

    What I'm saying is we don't have the motor driver library such as InstaSPIN library as in C2000.

    Hi Charles,

    Right but the Tivaware driver library has an entire PWM subsection for configuring the PWM peripheral. Also the launch pad user guide suggest use for a PWM motor driver application. Odd to find there is only stepper example, suffice to say good for robotic or automated positional applications.

    Have to wonder why the typical motor drive has no Tivaware example as we migrated BLDC drive from Stellarisware M3 class into M4. The launch pad actually worked well up to 165vdc for a remote inverter driver, taking precautions with remote ground plane jumper leads to X11 header. CB1 was instrumental several key points along the migration path, sad to see him depart yet a well deserved coffee break.
