CCS/EK-TM4C1294XL: TM4C1294 UART issue

I'm using CCS/EK-TM4C1294XL UART0 configuration steps in the MCU datasheet but i can't get any data from the USB ICDI port on puTTY software,

All the Baud rates, Parity , Stop bits are same for PC, puTTY & CCS/EK-TM4C1294XL, please is there any one has sorted out an issue like this?

Hi,
Have you tried out the TivaWare hello example or the uart_echo example? They can be found in the <TivaWare_Installation>/examples/boards/ek_tm4c1294xl. I will suggest you try these two examples first.

Thanks Charles, these 2 projects worked with me but why it failed to work when I followed the initialization & configuration steps in the datasheet section 16.4?

Hi,
Can you compare your code with that in the example? Look at the ConfigureUART in the hello example and it is pretty much what you need to initialize the UART.
