TMS570LS0714: RAM ECC ( 0x08400000 to 0x0841FFFF)

Hi,

I wanted to understand more about RAM ECC section defined in 6.9.1 of TMS570LS0714 data sheet. according to data sheet  RAM is from 0x08000000 to 0x0801FFFF and RAM ECC is defined to be from 0x08400000 to 0x0841FFFF, i wondering if this memory is used as duplicate of the RAM or it can be used as extended RAM.

    Hello,
    In Hercules MCUs ECC is always calculated. You can enable/disable ECC check and ECC correction but not generating of bits. Even when ECC is disabled ECC bits will be generated and bits will be modified.
