RTOS: TM4C129EXL or MSP432E | USB Mass Storage client

Dear Support Team,

I would like to emulate a launchpad (tiva or msp432) to be visible as an USB mass storage device. (Laptop recognize that like an external fat32 formatted flash device). I have found some examples on Resource Explorer, but as I understand the launchpads act hosts rather than slave.

Do you have any example that could help me?

Hello Daniel,

While not a TI-RTOS example, there is a usb_dev_msc example for the TM4C129X MCU. You can find it under [Install Path]\TivaWare_C_Series-2.1.4.178\examples\boards\dk-tm4c129x\usb_dev_msc

You should be able to port that to your LaunchPad.

Do you have any TI RTOS example project that I can use as a starting point to implement USB MSC Device in RTOS environment? I can't even find any RTOS managed project for MSC Device.

I don't believe such a project has been made available by the TI-RTOS team but I will loop them in to comment.

Hi Daniel,

We do not have a MSC device example for TI-RTOS. You should probably use the driverlib based one as an example. We really did not add much RTOS integration for USB.
