Hi

I wanna make sure something related with a resolved question.

TMS570LS3137:supply VCCAD before supplying VCC and VCCIO

 


The answer is that he recommends Vccad after Vcc and Vccio, but he didnt answer about "If Vccad is supplied before Vcc and Vccio, will it cause a fault such as latch-up?" in the question.

I wanna know this un-answered question,too.

    Hello Yuta,

    There is no special timing dependency between the ramp of the VCC/VCCIO and VCCAD. I recommend to apply VCC first, then VCCIO and VCCAD. But applying VCCAD first will not cause any problem such as latch-up.

    The accuracy of the ADC measurements depend on a clean ADC power supply. You would not want to start any conversion without waiting for a clean AD Referce HI/LO.
