TM4C123BH6ZRB: Max junction temp vs Operating junction temperature

Hello Champs

In the data sheet, the max junction temp is 150C but the recommend operation junction temperature is 93C.

Could you please comment why there are such big differences between these two?

    The maximum junction temperature of 150C is listed under "Absolute Maximum Ratings". The device is not guaranteed to operate properly under those conditions. Exceeding those conditions is likely to cause permanent damage to the part.

    The -40C to 93C junction temperature specification is under "Operating Specifications". The device is expected to operate properly under those conditions.

    Thanks for the reply. i understand the meaning. but it is kind of surprised see such big gap between 150 and 93.
    are there any particulare reasons?
