In the TM4C123GH6PM datasheet (revision E), in section 11.3.2.3 Input Edge-Count Mode there's a typo in the first sentence, just below the Note.
Wrong register name in bold in the citation below::
In Edge-Count mode, the timer is configured as a 24-bit or 48-bit up- or up- or down-counter including the optional prescaler with the upper count value stored in the GPTM Timer n Prescale (GPTMTnPR) register and the lower bits in the GPTMTnR register.
GPTMTnR should be GPTMTnILR
