CCS/TMS570LS1227: Is it possible to load program from CCS8 into TMS570 chips using SCI communication?

I want to load my program from CCS8 into TMS570 chip using SCI communication. Is it possible to do it? I have seen methods of loading program in flash for some other TI microcontrollers. Wondering if I could do the same for TMS570 using SCI ports. If so, some instructions would be nice. Thanks in advance.
