Sir, what I intend to do is when I've interfaced an external motor which rotating after the motor rotates for a certain angle, my Microcontroller will generate interrupts and using that interrupts I will measure the distance travelled by it.

That sounds fine as long as you use a motor driver between the TM4C and the motor to handle the drive currents required for the motor.

Did you have any further questions specific to our TM4C device?
