Comparison between MCU series: Sitara, SimpleLink, MSP430, C2000 and Hercules

Hello TI Officers,

I have been looking around to gather information on different MCUs provided by TI. I would like to ask if you have a comparison table/ documentation between: Sitara, SimpleLink, MSP430, C2000, Hercules, that points out what distinct of one MCU series from another ? If not, would you mind providing me a short paragraph describing what I am asking for ?

Regards,
An.

  • Hello Thuan,

The individual product pages for each of these families are your best bet to find the information you are looking for.

Sitara -- This is not an MCU. It's a processor that needs external memory and typically an OS of some sort to operate.

Microcontrollers OverView  -- Overview of our MCU portfolio.

SimpleLink  -- For all your connectivity needs.

MSP430 -- Focused on sensing and measurement.

    C2000 -- Focused on real-time control.

Hercules -- Focused on functional safety applications.
