TM4C1294NCPDT: TM4c1294NCPDT locked state

What do you mean by locked state? Do you mean to protect the flash or the EEprom? Or you are talking about purposely locking the JTAG interface from debug access? Please elaborate your question.

              There is a unlock sequence given in which i have to use LM Flash programmer with ICDI driver to unlock the controller. So what are the causes that locks the controller in first place.

hi,

          Actually the problem is , i programmed the controller using ROM_updateUART(); function. After programming once using serial, controller got locked and now i can neither use serial not jtag.  

The JTAG is giving error as unable to access DAP.

         I had selected reset MCU after program option while programming using serial. Can it be reason?

 Have you tried to first recover the EK-TM4C1294XL LaunchPad by performing the Unlock to the factory state? See below. Once recover, can you repeat the same problem again after UpdateUART()?

        As i do not have launch pad , i can not perform unlock sequence. Looks like i have to change the controller and then test.
