Dear Sir/Madam,

MSP430F2252 controller is used in project and SN65HVD256 for CAN communication (UART to CAN) as per PMP8740 design.

I asked many question regarding this CAN communication in this forum, but not received expect answer because I think not inbuit CAN in MSP430F2252.

Please suggest MSP430F2252 compatible IC with inbuit CAN (enhanced J1939). And also program through MSP-FET Programmer (because I have)...Most possible.

Thanks for information. Can you provide CAN Communication header files for MSP430F2252 Controller?

One more Question... Can I used this type of interface --> MSP430F2252 Controller + MCP2515(CAN Controller with SPI) + SN65HVD256(CAN Transceiver)---------------CAN Bus.................Another Side..

It is required another side SPI Communication on CAN Bus?

Hello Vijay,

As described in the information linked above, we do not have any CAN related collateral to share at this time. You would need to create the appropriate protocol on top of SPI to match the CAN controller you want to use.

For the other other side of communication, again it will be dependant on whochever CAN controller is being used.

Hello Vijay,

TI does not have an MSP430 based MCU that has integrated can. This means we do not have a device that can be programmed via the MSP-FET that has integrated CAN.

We do have the following devices with integrated CAN, but they cannot be programmed via the MSP-FET.

code example can be found within MSP430Ware inside TI Resource Explorer. the TI Resource Explorer can be found within CCS or our cloud version can be found at dev.ti.com . I've provided a direct link to this devices code examples below.
