Dear Sir,

We have design our PCB with TMS570ls0714. we have TMS570ls3137 HDK. When I Connect with TMS570ls3137 HDK, we can debug program with the XDS110. But when we debug program in TMS570ls0714, It will show following Errors:

we are using TI 14 pin connector at XDS110 debugger side to connect JTAG of the TMS570ls0714.

i have updated emulation package version from 6.0.504.1. to 8.0.903.4. In Our case we are not using CPLD XC2C32A CP56 Chip for debugger. because in our case this chip has not programmed. so we are not using xds100v2 emulator as debugger.

we have same design for JTAG Debugger like TMS570ls3137 HDK has. I am attaching TMS570ls3137 HDK Schematic also for your reference. Should we connect any Pull down / Pull up resistor To Pin 3 TRSTn? Please Reply as soon as possible.

Hello,
JTAG controllers from Texas Instruments actively drive TRSTn high. At the MCU side TRSTn is pulled down internally. You could place external pull-down but it is not required.
Its look like you have Layout or Connection problem. I am not aware what are the default states of CPLD IOs when it is not programmed - they should be in tri-state and not interfere .
What I can suggest is to check with oscilloscope whether signals are all available with good levels for '1' and '0' at MCU side when external external JTAG is connected.

Thanks Miro for your reply. I am attaching TMs570ls0714 PCB Schematics of our new board. Could you please review the layout and connection, and suggest any modification or correction is require.Based on yesterdays input, I am checking the signals with oscilloscope. Later i will upload the waveform of given signals.

Dear Miro, I have check signals of both Controllers which is TMS570ls3137 HDK and TMS570ls0714 PCB . I am attaching two folders with signals which are checked in oscilloscope.

Please give us suggestion so that we can resolve solution.

Dear Miro,

We have tested signals in oscilloscope during flashing code into TMS570ls3137 and TMS570ls0714 IC. in TMS570ls3137, All Signals are responding. But In TMS570ls0714 PCB, TDO pin Resopnse is not coming. Can you please tell me how to resolve this query? I will attached all signals of TMS570LS3137 and TMS570LS0714 Boards. Please give response as soon as possible.

Hi Sir,

We resove problem. It is hardware problem. In our PCB Q2 Mosfet is not giving up requring voltage. Now with Ti 14 pin also we can able to debug in TMS50ls0714 PCB.
