DMA software reset behaviour

Hi there,

Could I please confirm that the DMA module GCTRL register (0xFFFFF000) bit field DMA_RES is auto-clearing following a write of 1?

This is the observed behaviour, though TRM SPNU499C section 16.3.1.1 does not state so.

Section 16 of the TRM, CGT (compiler) examples and HALCoGen essentially make no references to resetting the DMA module.

Hi Mark,

Yes, the DMA RES bit gets reset to 0 as well upon any DMA reset condition, including by setting DMA RES.
