TMS570 F035 Flash Library - ECC status after an Erase

Hello

I have tried to find this in the users guide, but can't seem to find any mention of it.

If I use the F035 Flash API to perform an Erase on a sector or bank of Flash, is the corresponding ECC bits automatically adjusted?

If not, does that mean I would have to Erase a sector or bank and then calculate the ECC for that sector or bank, and then program it into the corresponding

ECC address space?

    Kieran,

     

    Erasing a sector or bank will also erase the corresponding ECC. There are some special registers in the Flash Memory Controller that will allow for special conditions such as the all 1's condition that will occur after an erase.
