Hey, everyone!

I am reading high-speed digital data and need to print the same on the terminal (or console). The preferable time between two consecutive readings is 10 microseconds. I am using SCI at 1000000 baud rate but it is still slow.

I would really appreciate a solution or any help, A little urgent :/

Hi Apurv,

In asynchronous timing mode, the SCI generates a baud clock according to the following formula:

Asynchronous baud value = VCLK1 Frequency/(16*(BAND+1))

You can adjust VCLK1 or BAND (BRS register) to select higher baudrate.

If you VCLK1=150MHz, the baudrate can reach to 4mbps.

Most terminals don't support such high baudrate. For example the maximum baudrate rate the TeraTerm can support is 921kbps.
