Hi,

I am using TMS570LS3137 micro-controller and used HALCOGEN to generate the code base, i see a function pbistIsTestCompleted() to check the status of PBIST test completion. I wanted to know typical time taken to complete the test on STC ROM. Can you please point me to any document which captures the time taken by PBIST module to complete the self test.

This is the exact information i am looking for.

I have another question about the status bit checks in the code generated by Halcogen. Below is an example from ccmSelfCheck() function:

/* Wait for CCM self-test to complete */
/*SAFETYMCUSW 28 D MR:NA <APPROVED> "Hardware status bit read check" */
while ((CCMSR & 0x100U) != 0x100U)
{
}/* Wait */

Do we have any datasheet or reference manual where the time taken for these status bits to be set (in above example Self-test Complete bit of CCM-R4F Status Register (CCMSR).

Hello,
According to Section 9.3.2 Self-Test Mode of device TRM it takes 3615 GCLK cycles for CCM self test to complete.
