RTOS/TM4C1294NCPDT: Using safari to connect NDK WEB Server

Part Number: TM4C1294NCPDT

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

TI-RTOS Version : 2.16.01.14

Hardware connect : PC, MCU and iphone connect to a Wireless Access Point(WAP)

Hi Everyone

I have a problem, when i using ios(safari chrome) to connect ndk's web server.

It can load the html page, but the web information not work.

When using PC, web is work correctly.

The strange thing is when i using Fiddler and set "allow remote computers to connect", and iphone wifi set proxy.

Safari and chrome can work correctly.

How to let iphone browsing ndk's web correctly?

And why need to use the proxy.

I know this problem seems not ndk's problem.

But i just try to ask, if someone can help me to solve this.

Thank you!!

Allen

  • Hi Allen,

Can you use WireShark to see the difference between working and non-working browsers? What's the exact version of the non-working one.

  • Hi Todd

    Thanks for your reply.

I use WireShark to see "PC To NDK" and "iPhone to Fiddler(PC) to NDK", there are no difference.
I don't know how to see package of "iPhone to PC" without Fiddler.
And I also using Charles to substitute Fiddler, but the iPhone browser(safari chrome) still not working.
Using WireShark see the package are no difference.

    PC is working well.

    Below is iphone version :
    ios version : 12.0
    safari version : Version/12.0 Mobile/15E148 Safari/604.1
    chrome(iphone) version : 74.0.3729.121

  • Hi Allen,

I'm having trouble reproducing this issue. Could you please provide some more information?

First off, what is your network topology? Are you connecting through a home router for example?

Can you please elaborate a bit more on the exact issue you're seeing? What exactly are you trying to do that isn't working?

I was able to load up the HTTP example's web page on my iPhone with Safari (I'm on iOS 11.x). I could display the page and run the CGI links to show the sockets etc.
