Compiler/TM4C1294KCPDT: Secure string or memory operations e.g. memcpy_s, strcpy_s etc

With this compiler ti-cgt-arm_18.12.1.LTS; it seems we can't use memcpy_s, strcpy_s. Does it mean we need to add our own code to ensure secure memory or string operation?
