CCS/TM4C1294NCPDT: Bootloader issue

Dear all,

I am using Tiva C TM4C1294NCPDT controller. I had downloaded the "boot_serial" example to the launchpad. After that via LM Flash Programmer i am able to download the app code.

My question is,

Some times while downloading the app code via LM Flash Programmer if any one of the following happens then not able to download the app code.

1. If power fails while the app code downloading or

2. Error / Timeout occurs while the app code downloading.

After downloading the bootloader code only, LM flash programming working to download the app code.

Any solution is available for this issue. i.e: if any disturbance occurs while app code download, then it needs boot loader code to continue further.

Pl. let us know if any solution is available or code modification is required?

    Hello Iyyappan,

    Is this occurring with one of our LaunchPad's? Could you describe any specific steps to re-create it?

    In general if a power fail occurs during boot loader operation that would be an issue because an incomplete application would be loaded and possibly could result in the boot loader passing the check that an application is present and not being invoked again when reconnecting.

    I haven't seen a timeout error before though, and would like to try and replicate that.

    I wouldn't think a code modification would fix this issue though.

    Also is this occurring on just one board, or multiple?
