Hello,

I want to use PWMDAC module in Hercules/MotorWare in order to monitor internal signal values in my project, such as: ramp signals, by an external oscilloscope.

But there is no PWMDAC module in Motorware.

I work on a DRV8301 kit.

How to use PWMDAC module using N2HET?

Hello,

You can certainly use the N2HET to generate the required PWM outputs to be used as a DAC. This app note, even through written for a C2000 MCU, is a good resource for the theory behind this. Note that you do need an external LP filter.

There is another document that includes a brief introduction to the N2HET, and also includes links to individual N2HET use cases along with code examples: www.ti.com/.../spny009.pdf

Hello,

My devices are TMS320f28069 and DRV8301. I use controlsuite to program.

Now, I want to use TMS570LS3137 and DRV8301.
But, there is no controlsuite in Hercules.
Can I convert Hercules/MotorWare to controlsuite ?
If can, How to convert?

Hi Rita,

Do you have a TMS570LS3137 control card for use with the DRV8301 kit? Any code running on the F28x needs to be manually ported to TMS570, there is no tool to do this. You can find a demo application for TMS570LS31x control card and the DRV8301 kit here:
