TMDSEMU110-U: serial number does not match

Hello!

TMDSEMU110-U was purchased at mouser.com

The serial number on the box does not match the number in the program. Why did this happen and how can I solve this problem?

Maybe this is not the original (fake)?

    Hi,

    The serial number in the product sticker does not have a correlation with the logical serial number shown by Uniflash. This was originally intended to come pre-loaded from the factory only on Launchpads, so the Uniflash tool is able to properly recognize which board and device is connected. Since the TMDSEMU110-U is a general purpose probe that can be connected to ANY device, our decision was to leave this field blank (all zeros) and allow customers to set the serial number if they wish to do so.

    If you want to set this, follow the procedure shown at the XDS110 page below (check section "Finding and updating the serial number")
