TM4C123GH6PM: Is there a way to clear the User regiter by software?

Part Number: TM4C123GH6PM

I use the User register 0 in my device for storing the device serial number.

There was an error in manufacturing and the wrong serial number was burned onto the user register.

The device is already sealed so I can't connect the board with an ICDI eval board.

I can only use the USB in order to burn a new software.

Can I somehow clear the User regiter by software?

Yes and no. You can change a "1" bit to a "0", but you cannot change a "0" to a "1" without erasing the entire flash contents through the "Recovering a Locked Microcontroller" sequence. Use the TivaWare function FlashUserGet() to read the contents, then change bits from 1 to 0 and use the functions FlashUserSet() and FlashUserSave().
